Mermaids of Norfolk

And now a few Norfolk mermaids... All done by local artists

Macaroni Grill!

Macaroni Grill at Town Center Virginia Beach

 Yum Yum Cafe Affagato!
The bottles are half off on Thursday nights!
The dining room is pretty classy.. white table clothes and all

Full bar available but pretty sleepy atmosphere more for after work drinks
The bread comes out warm, olive oil is provided for dipping and olives because I wanted them yum yum for olives!
Get serenaded by Anthony in one of four languages its entertaining with moderation
 The pasta is pretty appetizing
Stuffed mushrooms are buttery but overall its good food but not the cheapest place to eat so come after pay day!

Cannon Ball Trail in Downtown Norfolk

Welcome to Downtown!

 Very Old Church!
 From 1894!
 Nice architecture...
The trail brings visitors to historical homes available for touring
Freemason street is laid in stone not paved...
Come early to get into these houses...
Navy Ships are respected at this little pit stop along the trail
The Lone Sailor in Downtown Norfolk...
Cannon Ball trail is a historical walk through the downtown

Botanical Gardens Port St Lucie Florida

Port St. Lucie has opened a botanical gardens and is still in the process of building and planting
So this tree is great for climbing and looks pretty intricate
There is an alligator in the water but only his eye is showing
The Port St Lucie Orchid Society Garden
 Ta Da!
A nice welcoming pond, complete with alligators...
For now there is a rose, orchid and exotic fruit garden

 Expansions are coming soon
 Passion flowers are pretty!
That's one of the local butterflies in this pic, hanging around the exotic flower garden
Every second Wednesday the gardens has live jazz music, and regular admission is 5 bucks I think jazz nights were 3 dollars. Not bad for local entertainment. I am excited to watch these gardens grow!

Dune Dog's Indian Town Fl

Out of Hampton Roads and down to Florida... allow me to provide a peep into Dune Dog....
Typical Florida style (Southern Florida that is)

The tree goes through the restaurant and up through the roof
Ecletic art everywhere and very colorful
No air conditioning but there are fans, it wasn't hot at all
They offer salads, fish sammys and a variety of hot dogs, since it's south Florida adult beverages are available
Had a good time!
